merry christmas

If I could put all of you guys on my Christmas card list, I would!  Thank you so much for all of your support and for making this blog such a fun outlet for me!!

Here are a couple of little facts about our Christmas cards this year:
  • This photo was taken at Washington-on-the-Brazos (the "birthplace of Texas"), where the Texas Declaration of Independence was signed.  Absolutely gorgeous out there.
  • When we came home after taking the photos I was so bummed when I couldn't find a single one that I liked.  Why can't they look at the camera at the same time?!  I ended up combining two photos to get one where they were both looking at me.  I double dog dare ya to pick out the edit.  Pa-pow!!!  Let me know if anyone is interested in a tutorial and I just might put one together :)
I hope all of you have a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord.  Luke 2:11

  2. Your kiddos are insanely cute Shelley, I love your card! I have edited my kids' photos like that too before, with my very limited skills! It's impossible to get one where everyone is equally adorable at the same time! Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas and happy new year ahead!! XO

    1. Thank God for photo editing tools!! It's like kids are programmed to act ridiculous when a camera comes out. "Ooo... Mom has the camera and put us in nice clothes. Lets see how upset we can get her by refusing to smile and trashing our clothing as soon as we exit the car!" Good times.

    1. Yes!!! We've looked at land out there several times, which is how we can across it the first time! So pretty. The kids (even my husband and I) were blown away by how large the pecans and acorns were that we found on the ground. Jurassic sized!
